The most waterproof Electric Skateboards – ONSRA takes the test
Fact: Water and electric skateboards usually don't mix.
Most brands say: "Never ride in the rain." – but let's be honest: Sometimes you just can't avoid it.
So what happens when you really expose an e-skate to the rain? ONSRA put it to the test.
While other brands talk a lot but stay dry, we went out and tested our boards in real water – and of course filmed everything.
Because we are the only ones brave enough to really prove it.
ONSRA Waterproof Test – Do the boards hold up?
We didn't just pour a little water over it.
We rode right into it: Puddles? ✔️ Splashing water? ✔️ Wet roads? ✔️
The result: Properly sealed ONSRA boards withstand water impressively well.
As long as the screws are tight and the seals are intact, the interior remained dry. Carbon casings and high-quality seals protect the electronics even in extreme conditions.
But the truth is: Open your board afterwards!
Even if our boards passed the test – no electric skateboard is 100% waterproof.
And importantly: Water damage is not covered by the warranty.
Because even if no water directly penetrates, damage can occur due to condensation or moisture inside.
Tip: If you've ridden in the wet, open your board afterwards, let it dry, and check for moisture. This is the only way it will stay in top condition long-term.
ONSRA – The only brand that really tests
Other brands talk about "water resistance". We prove it.
ONSRA is the world's leading electric skateboard brand – because we take engineering seriously, instead of just doing marketing.
Conclusion – Ride smart, stay dry
If you ride in the rain or on wet roads, an ONSRA board handles it better than any other.
But: Take precautions yourself – tighten screws, dry after the ride, and never forget that no board is completely waterproof.
