Why Maintenance Matters
Every ONSRA board is built to last — CNC machining, waterproof components, high-end electronics.
But even the most robust machine needs attention.
Whether you ride every day or every week, a few simple actions make the difference between a board that looks new after two years and one that wears out too quickly.
Weekly Checks
1. Belt Tension
If your board uses a Belt Drive, inspect the tension once a week.
The belt should be firm but not too tight.
Too tight = stressed bearings and reduced range.
Too loose? You’ll feel slippage during acceleration — tighten it slightly.
2. Wheel Nuts & Bushings
Check the wheel nuts — vibrations can loosen them.
Inspect the bushings (the urethane in the trucks).
If they are cracked or crushed, replace them with ONSRA 65A or 82A bushings.
3. Deck & Enclosure
Look for cracks, loose screws, or play between the deck and enclosure.
Tighten uniformly — CNC parts do not require high torque.
Monthly Maintenance
1. Bearings
Spin each wheel by hand.
If it doesn't spin freely, disassemble and clean with a mild bearing cleaner or isopropyl alcohol.
Lubricate with a drop of bearing oil.
2. Belt & Pulley Inspection
Look for wear, cracks, or frayed edges.
Replace worn belts with ONSRA replacement belts.
Clean pulleys with a soft brush — without water.
3. Torque Check
CNC parts are precise, but vibration can loosen screws.
Regularly check fasteners: motor mounts, baseplates, and enclosure screws.
Every 6 Months
1. Truck Alignment
Ensure that the trucks remain perpendicular to the deck. Any misalignment = wobble and uneven wheel wear.
2. Bushing Condition
They compress over time. If the board becomes unstable, replace them.
3. Deck/Enclosure Seal
Check the seal between the deck and enclosure — replace it if worn. It blocks moisture and dust.
Cleaning Tips
Never hose down the board.
Use a dry microfiber cloth or one very slightly damp.
Avoid spraying anything near ports or motors.
Clean wheels with lukewarm water only if they are disassembled.
Dust and dirt increase rolling resistance and eat up range — keeping wheels and bearings clean makes all the difference.
Battery & Storage
The ONSRA battery is a precision lithium pack. Treat it as such.
If you don't ride for several weeks: store at 40–60%.
Do not leave it full or empty for long periods.
Charge only indoors, at room temperature.
Avoid extreme cold or heat.
In winter, warm the board indoors before charging.
Good maintenance easily adds hundreds of cycles to the battery's lifespan.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Over-tightening belts (goodbye torque and bearings).
Riding through puddles or on wet roads.
Storing the board fully charged… in the heat.
Ignoring strange noises (often a loose screw or misaligned pulley).
Leaving the board plugged in overnight.

Watch how to adjust belts, align trucks, and keep every ONSRA precise and smooth.
Storage and Transport
When you're not riding, lay the board flat or stand it upright — never leaning on one wheel for days.
Avoid car trunks that become saunas/freezers.
If you travel with your ZENO 99 Wh “air-travel safe”, remove the battery if possible and keep it in a separate fireproof bag during the flight.
The ONSRA Philosophy
ONSRA builds for riders who demand performance.
This involves transparency — from range testing to long-term durability.
We prefer to teach you how to keep your board perfect rather than sell you parts you don't need.
Because a precision machine, well-maintained, remains perfect.
